Today (17 April 2025), Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the Prachachon Party and leader of the opposition, spoke about the role of Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, former Prime Minister, who tried to pull ASEAN countries to create unity to negotiate trade barriers with the United States. He said that every negotiation has both formal and informal platforms, so he wanted to encourage the government to negotiate for the greatest benefit of the people. He pointed out that the outcome of the negotiations will be primarily the responsibility and accountability of the Prime Minister.
